Well I shot like crap! Two major factors contributed to this, heat exhaustion and, it's too dang hot for practice. (see Shooters Log from June titled "Too Danged Hot for Practice").  Even though I'm very disappointed in my performance, or lack thereof, I still had a great time as always shooting with my friends and making new ones.

On Sunday, June 19th (yes, Father's Day) I along with two of my shooting buddies, Dean and Brad, motored down to Longview to shoot in the East Texas Pistol and Rifle Club's "Steel Challenge" match. After two practice sessions I think I can say that I have figured out my feed issues from last month's match were all related to not cleaning my magazines thoroughly enough. The Taurus ran flawlessly the last two weekends.
