A tornado watch has been issued until 8 p.m. Wednesday for the Texarkana area.

I was taking a look around Facebook when I noticed my cousin, Richard Harvey, Jr. (No relation to Hurricane Harvey) when I saw how bad the water was, even north in The Woodlands. I had a chance to speak with Debra Harvey, (no relation to the Hurricane). She lives in The Woodlands in far north Harris County. She tells us about how things are for them at this time.

Once again, forecasts are calling for Winter Weather in the Ark-La-Tex Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the area.
The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a "Freezing Rain Advisory" for portions of the Ark-La-Tex, including Texarkana. This advisory is for February 20, from midnight to 9 a.m.
The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a special weather statement for the listening area. As temps drop, icing is a strong possibility on elevated surfaces overnight.
It is being reported that one man was killed and four others injured when a possible tornado struck their home Monday morning. Authorities have released the names of the man killed and names of those that were injured.
