Texarkana Arkansas City Board Meets Tonight

The Texarkana, Arkansas City Board of Directors meet for the 1st time in the month of February tonight beginning at 6PM at Arkansas side City Hall.

The board has a very light agenda. The main action item is considering an ordinance to rezone a property on Front Street in an effort to continue renewal in downtown Texarkana.

A. Approval of minutes of the rescheduled regular meeting January3, 2017 and of the reschedule regular meeting January 17, 2017.

B. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Depository Board to execute the 2017 depository agreement with Commercial National Bank.

C. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the City of Texarkana, Texas for police CID secretarial services.

D. Adopt an Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract for the Millwood Water Treatment Plant settling basin concrete repairs, with Mid-Continental Restoration Company, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas.

9. Adopt an Ordinance rezoning property located at 215 East Front Street from W-1 Warehousing and Wholesale to C-2 Central Business District in order to develop commercial opportunities and apartments.
