The New Micro-Cycle, Is It the Transportation of the Future?

RYNO Motors founder Chris Hoffman is a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry and thanks to an idea given to him by his daughter has invented the Micro-Cycle. Using the same type of balancing technology used by the Segue, this one-wheeled riding machine once in full production should cost about $3000 and give you approximately 30 miles of use on a 1 1/2 hour charge.

This machine may not make you want to sleeve out in tats, put on your leathers and sing "Born To Be Wild" at the top of your lungs, but it looks like a ton of one-wheeled fun to me.

Full production is scheduled to begin in January 2013.
