UPDATE: Bowie County Reports 286 Active Coronavirus Cases & Three More Deaths

Bowie County Emergency Operation Center reported today a total of 546 positive COVID-19 cases, which includes 227 recoveries and 34 deaths. As it stands, according to the Texarkana Gazette, there are currently 286 active cases being tracked in Bowie County. 

As it stands, Cass County has a total of 97 cases including 50 recovered and two deaths. Cass County has 45 active cases.

The Bowie County/Texarkana, Texas Joint Operations Center urges everyone who tests positive for COVID-19 or are a healthcare provider that conducts COVID testing to please notify the Local Heath Authority as they continue to conduct contact tracing on positive cases. According to local sources, The City of Texarkana, Texas, will reopen the Southwest Center on Friday after all areas have been sanitized and employee test results have been returned.
