‘Arrow’ Braces for Explosive Aftermath in Season 6 Premiere Title
Arrow will have a harder time keeping its fall 2017 premiere under-wraps than Legends of Tomorrow or The Flash, and with good reason. Prepare for the “Fallout” of Season 6, as our premiere title and production start teases an explosive return.
We’re now three-for-four on The CW’s returning DC dramas, as Arrow Season 6 begins production with October 12 premiere “Fallout.” The title page was shared by executive producer Marc Guggenheim, in the process confirming longtime stunt coordinator and sometime director James Bamford behind the camera:
The title of course refers to the Season 5 finale “Lian Yu” explosions that threaten the entire cast, from Felicity to Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke. Season 6 has already confirmed Katie Cassidy, Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy will return as series regulars, but Guggenheim previously claimed a series regular contract was no guarantee of survival, a la The Walking Dead.
We’ll see if Arrow manages to keep its victims under wraps (at least until Comic-Con 2017), so stay tuned in the meantime.
