The Rescue Rama Garage Sale Fundraiser for the dog rescues is Saturday, September 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a fundraiser to benefit participating dog rescues from the Texarkana area.

The Animal Care and Adoption Center is holding a special adoption event all through the month of September for those that are 55 years of age or older. No adoption fee for seniors in September.

Sox is 2 years old, 45 pounds and believed to be a Beagle-Sheppard mix. Sox loves other dogs, toys, walks and being loved. He is crate and potty trained. Sox is neutered, update-to-date on vaccinations, has a micro chip and is on monthly heartworm prevention with flea control. Sox is at Jeff Tarpley Rescue.
