‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Kaley Cuoco Gets Engaged to Addiction Specialist

Some depressing news for nerds and ‘Big Band Theory’ addicts: Kaley Cuoco is off the market.

The star’s representative told PEOPLE magazine that Cuoco, 25, is now engaged to Josh “Lazie” Resnik, an addiction specialist. “The surprise proposal took place during a quiet night at home,” says the rep, although there’s no official wedding date yet. “The couple are very happy and excited to begin planning their wedding.”

While this is such happy news for Cuoco, she did fool everyone at the Golden Globes back in January. She told Ryan Seacrest point blank that she was engaged, but before anyone could get excited, she quickly showed her glamorous ring and said it was to the jewelry designer Chopard. “It’s the only finger it fit.”

In the past, Cuoco dated her ‘Big Bang Theory’ co-star Johnny Galecki and musician Christopher French. Before the hit CBS show, Cuoco starred in the sitcoms ’8 Simple Rules’ and ‘Ladies Man,’ as well as the supernatural drama ‘Charmed.’
