School will soon be out and the kids will be looking for something to do this summer. Caddo Camp Out will be taking place at the Ace of Clubs House on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 5:30PM to 8AM.

Everyone who attends will learn about the Caddo Indians who lived in this area years ago. Attendees will learn how to build a hut, weave and how to make pottery with local artist Polly Cook. Pizza by the campfire and a light breakfast will be served and make sure to bring a tent or sleeping bag. Adult supervision is required. Tickets for this event are $30 per person. Tickets may be purchased at any Texarkana Museums System location.

Ace of Clubs House

The Draughon-Moore "Ace of Clubs House" is an historic home built in 1885. It features unique architecture and a wonderful collection of original family furnishings and personal belongings. It's the oldest standing house in Texarkana, Texas.
