It's happened again, the new season of the TV show "Forged In Fire" has started up, and it's on my DVR right now. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm excited to see what the guys and gals will be forging, hammering, and grinding into blades this season.

As I said during the radio broadcast, it wasn't a re-grand opening, because all during the remodel, our Arkansas-side Walmart #468 stayed open. We, as customers, and even they, as associates, are still going through the growing pains. But we're all learning together the new layout.

Having grown up and worked in the Houston area for many years, I can vouch for some of these findings, but I'm scratching my head on some others. The three Texas cities listed below have come up in a survey of the best and worst cities to have a picnic, and they were not on the "best" side of the ledger if you know what I mean. Bear with me here.

There it is, AT&T Stadium, the house that Jerry built, the home of my team, the world-famous Dallas Cowboys, plus major concerts, and other entertainment options throughout the year. Have you ever heard of Round Top, Texas? Most people have not, but back in February my nephew, Will Lynde, hosted and performed at a venue there I can only describe as magical. It's called the Round Top Festival Institute, and lucky you, I took pictures.
