Christ Church Annual Chili Supper in Texarkana Feb. 24

It's that time of year again for the Christ Church annual chili supper on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 5204 South Rondo Road in Texarkana.

This is an All-You-Can-Eat Chili with a dessert that will be served by the Methodist Men from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The annual chili supper will benefit the Curtis Cornett Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $10 for adults. children $5, 5-12, and 4 and under are free. You can also carry it out if you prefer they will box it up for you to take home.

This chili supper presented by the Methodist Men has become a very special event fundraiser as well as their fish fry during the fall. If you don't want chili hot dogs will be available too.

There are all kinds of ways of making chili, some like with beans others do not. Some like cheese on their chili with Fritos that make it taste like a Frito pie. I have to have crackers crumbled in mine but some people like cornflakes in their chili.

Christ Church is located at 5204 South Rondo Road, at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Hwy 237 in Texarkana, Arkansas.
