Jack In The Box In Texarkana? Looks Like It!
I have been talking about this literally for years, I just didn't know why or understand why there isn't a Jack In The Box in Texarkana... if this is real, our wait may be over sooner rather than later.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Texas fast food outlets Whataburger and DQ, and always have been, I am a Texan after all. But there are a few items on the California-based Jack In The Box menu that I absolutely love. So, when I travel to Fort Worth or to Houston to see family, the first place I usually stop is Jack In The Box in Sulfer Springs or Lufkin, depending on which way I'm going, and grab an Ultimate Cheezburger and some curly fries.
Is It Legit?
We don't have any hard details about who the franchisee will be yet but the info was found by someone on the official Jack In The Box website or App and shared on social media yesterday (Thursday). So, unless the Jack In The Box corporation is fibbing to us, it does seem to be legit.

That location is right next to Walgreens on N. State Line by the way. Could it be co-located with Golden Chick, or is this a change from the Golden Chick announcement a few months back? Good question.
The App says the new restaurant should be here in Texarkana by August of 2024, just in time for my birthday, that's nice of them.
My buddy Mario wrote an article the other day about reports of new Jack In The Box stores coming to Arkansas which sparked the conversation of, "if they're going there, why aren't they coming here?" Well, it looks like they are!
Which makes my tastebuds very happy, my waistline? Maybe not so much.
