Two people were killed and another was injured late Wednesday night after a high-speed pursuit ended in a fiery crash in Little Rock, according to the Arkansas State Police (ASP).

High-Speed Chase Begins on I-30

Around 10:15 PM on October 29, a trooper spotted a red Infiniti speeding eastbound on Interstate 30 near the 133-mile marker. When the Arkansas State Trooper attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver exited at Geyer Springs Road and fled, reaching speeds over 100 mph and disregarding traffic lights while nearly hitting other vehicles.

Pursuit Ends in Fiery Crash

The chase continued onto I-30 westbound, where the car reportedly topped 130 mph before taking the McDaniel Drive exit. The vehicle struck another motorist on the service road, lost control, and crashed into heavy machinery at a nearby business, catching fire on impact.

Two Killed, Driver Hospitalized

Troopers freed one passenger from the burning vehicle, but both passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The 20-year-old Little Rock driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Baptist Medical Center for treatment. The innocent motorist struck during the pursuit was not injured.
