
Asleep At The Wheel Headlines Upcoming New Boston Pioneer Days Oct 8-11
Pioneer Days in New Boston, Texas, was officially rescheduled to October 8-11 to get away from the intense heat of August. The event will take place at the T&P Trailhead Park Pavilion downtown with carnival rides, food, vendors, arts & crafts, and nightly concerts, wrapping up Saturday night with one of Texas's finest bands, Asleep At The Wheel.
Here are the confirmed hours and festival details:
- Craft Vendor Booths / Arts & Crafts booths will be open Wednesday through Friday from 6 - 10 PM, and Saturday from 11 AM - Midnight.
- Festival Grounds, Concessions, and the Carnival Midway will be open Wednesday - Friday from 6:00 – 10:00 PM.
- The Parade is Saturday at 10:00 AM; this year's theme is "Game Day". Float entries still being accepted here. Parade lineup at TAPP Park at the Baseball Fields at 9 AM.

- Wednesday, Oct 8: Anthony Price & Southern Front Band, 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct 9: Seger System (Bob Seger tribute), 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct 10: William Michael Morgan, 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct 11: Marlon Sharp & Cowboys at the Cross at 7:00 p.m., followed by Asleep at the Wheel at 8:30 p.m.
