Two years into the Texarkana festival that revolves around pickles, and there's now doubt this is once again... a Big Dill.

Sorry, I'm not going to beat you over the head with pickle puns; I promise.

From everything I heard, Pickle Fest 2025 was a big hit. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend last year, so this year I planned on being there and made it. What a pleasant surprise.

Who Knew Pickles Were That Popular?

Seriously, I like pickles, but dang. I never had any idea of the seemingly endless ways to prepare a pickle for human consumption. Just go Google pickle recipes and get ready; it's a lot. I don't know if they were all represented at Pickle Fest, but many were.

Are You Gherkin Me Around? ( Last One, Promise)

We've heard rumors that the next Pickle Fest 2027 will take place in Texarkana, and again will be in the month of October. But it will not take place downtown at Front Street Plaza next year. The organizers say they have outgrown the plaza. So, the speculation begins as the new location has not been revealed as of yet, but the date has.

According to  a post on the Official Pickle Fest Texarkana Facebook Page:

We started with a brand new pickle festival last year, and now apparently we need more real estate. Y’all have officially outgrown the pickle jar (Front St. Festival Plaza). Location details will be released at a later date. Don’t worry, we aren’t leaving Texarkana!!! Save the Date: 10/16/2027
