Harvest Regional Food Bank returns to Waldo, Arkansas this week, for another food box distribution for Columbia County residents only, but due to the winter storm, the event has been rescheduled.

Harvest Regional Food Bank was planning a food Distribution on Wednesday of this week but due to the bone-chilling temperatures and snow and ice all around the area, they have decided to move the Distribution to this Friday, January 19. That's when they will be handing out food boxes directly from their truck beginning at 9 AM and lasting until approximately 11 AM or until all boxes have been distributed.

The Harvest Food Bank truck will be parked next to the Waldo Fire Department located at 102 E. Main St. in Waldo, Arkansas.

What To Do:

If you are a resident of Columbia County and would like to participate in this distribution, you must first go inside the fire station building and check in. Once you are checked in (registered), recipients will go back to their vehicle and proceed to line up along East Main St. & N Walnut St. then East Roselawn St. towards N Hickory St.

Yes, you must register inside first before lining up.

Proof of Eligibility:

Recipients have to bring proof of who they are and that are eligible to receive the relief food boxes, you must bring photo identification or some other valid proof of address. Distribution is limited to one box per household and 2 households maximum per vehicle.

The next Mobile Pantry for Columbia County will be on April 24, 2024.
