We all know that people in Texas are amazing and wonderful, but I had no idea how many record holders we have here in the lone star state. The state of Texas is huge so it makes sense that you would have quite a few people that stand out for being incredible at certain tasks, some of these things even end up with Texans being in the Guinness Book of World Records. Let’s look at some of the most unique or really interesting records that were broken here in Texas last year.

When I was growing up the Guinness Book of World Records was one of the first books I was introduced to inside my school library. I thought it was so cool to see the effort put in by these individuals to create these unique records. Every record that you see below that was broken in Texas last year took a lot of effort.
