
Popular Texas Attraction, The Cadillac Ranch, Gets Charlie Kirk Tribute Overnight
For decades, The Cadillac Ranch has become a stop for folks traveling through Amarillo to check out the unique art installation. This week the cars are honoring the late Charlie Kirk.
If you have ever visited The Cadillac Ranch, most likely you have seen the Cadillac's stuck headfirst in the dirt covered in various forms of graffiti. Below is what you usually see these cars looking like throughout the year.

However, occasionally the owners of the property due a complete paint job for different causes. If you visit The Cadillac Ranch over the next week, two artists have done a tribute to Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk Tribute at The Cadillac Ranch
All of the cars have been painted red and Charlie's name adorns several of the cars. His year of birth and death start and finish the tribute. This particular paint job will be running until September 28th. However, guests are encouraged to write words of “gratitude, unity, or prayers,” regardless of political or religious views.
Where is the Cadillac Ranch Located at in Amarillo?
Just west of the Amarillo city line. I-40 exit 60. Follow the frontage road on the south side of I-40 (old Route 66) east for one mile. Cadillac Ranch will be on the right (south) side; just park your car along the shoulder and enter the pasture through an unlocked gate. Admission is free to go check it out.
Many suggest if you do add your own work to the Cadillacs to snap a photo, because whatever you design will probably be painted over within a day or two.
