It's always a good victory Monday when it's against Washington.

1. Pickens is an Amazing Teammate

I'm not sure why all off season we heard was that Pickens is going to make it all about himself on this offense and makes sure he gets the ball. From what I have seen, he's a great teammate and Sunday's game was another example. He was ecstatic for Cee Dee Lamb on this huge touchdown run early in the game Sunday. Keep these two healthy and it's tough offense to defend.

2. Brandon Aubrey Somehow Does It Again

Whenever I see Brandon Aubrey line up behind the star for a kick, I think he can't keep doing this consistently. Once again, 60+ yard kick is good. He just made NFL history with that kick. Becomes the first player to have five field goals from 60 or greater. Cowboys play in Denver next week and the ball tends to fly better with the low altitude. Maybe Aubrey breaks a record? We will wait and see.

3. THE SUN!!!!!

Welcome to a 3:30 kickoff at Jerry World. The end zone doors were open on Sunday and I was curious if that would help the glare at all. Nope, that sun can't be stopped. Unless we have a concert or boxing match at AT&T Stadium, then magical curtains pop up.

4. Defense Better, Still Needs Improving

Finally someone other than Donovan Wilson in the Cowboys secondary picked off the ball during a Dallas Cowboys game Sunday. Speaking of Dallas Cowboys secondary, what the hell happened to Trevon Diggs? Out with a concussion after something happened at his house? We will wait and see if more comes out from that. Cowboys looked good on Sunday, but this defense still needs to work on their zone coverage.

5. Dallas Cowboys Arctic White Still Undefeated at Home

For the first time in a non prime time home game. The Dallas Cowboys wore their 'Artic White' uniforms. Changing the historic Cowboys white home uniform rubs some folks the wrong way. The Dallas Cowboys are now 7-1 in those uniforms. Sadly, we will not see these again this season. Besides our standard white, we will get the throwbacks on Thanksgiving and the Cowboys will wear navy blue in three games the rest of the year. Check out more of those arctic white uniforms below.
