Dallas Player Wins $2.4 Million Texas Two Step Jackpot — One of the Largest in Years
There’s a new millionaire in Texas, and they reside in Dallas. If you know anything about Big D, you know they are one of many who reside there.
However, this person didn’t grow their wealth through various business ventures or investments; in many cases, they inherited it. Nope, the winner was simply as lucky as you can be. The lucky player bought the ticket at 7-Eleven Convenience Store #36361A, located at 4590 Frankford Road, in Dallas. The big winner wisely chose to remain anonymous. I know I would. Can you imagine all the old “friends” who would suddenly come around as soon as they heard you won a couple of million?
The winner scored a whopping $2.4 million in the March 5 drawing, according to a press release. The Quick Pick ticket matched the four white ball numbers of 2-3-19-29 and the red bonus ball number, 9. I once heard that Quick Pick tickets were less likely to be winners than tickets in which the winner picked the numbers, but that clearly wasn’t the case with this one.
Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
