The Texarkana,  Texas Police have arrested six teenagers in connection with a case of aggravated robbery. Authorities say they were called to the 1700 block of Olive Street  in reference to an armed robbery.

The 64 year old victim stated he was walking when the teens approached him an asked for a cigarette. He became suspicious and tried to flee but was caught by the suspects who put a gun to his neck and stole money and a pocket knife.

Authorities were able to locate the teens a short distance away and 5 local juveniles and a 18 year old from Stamps, Arkansas were arrested and charged and the investigation continues.

Consumers spent less on cars in May, sending retail sales down for the first time in nearly a year. The Commerce Department says retail sales dropped 0.2% last month. It was the first decline after 10 straight increases.

Wholesale prices rose at the slowest pace in 10 months in May as food costs fell and gas prices rose by the smallest amount in eight months. The figures suggest consumers could see some relief from rising prices soon. The Labor Department says the Producer Price Index, which measures price changes before they reach the consumer increased 0.2% in May.

The Dallas Mavericks have announced plans for a Victory Parade for Thursday thru downtown Dallas to celebrate the Mavericks first ever NBA Championship after they beat the Miami Heat 4-2 in the best of seven series.

Dallas owner Mark Cuban has said that he will pay for the Victory Parade.
