Good Monday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

The Texarkana Arkansas City Board Of Directors meets tonight at 7pm at City Hall for their regular session.

The board will consider amending the Code Of Ordinances regarding private club hours. Mayor Wayne Smith has also requested an Executvie Session towards the end of tonights meeting. The public is invited to attend the open portion of the board meeting.

Miller County Judge Larry Burgess has enacted an outdoor burn ban in Miller County. The ban will be in place until we get appreciable rainfall. The Hot, Dry, and Windy weather has made any outdoor burning dangerous at this time.

The Texas Department of Public Safety worked a fatality accident yesterday evening on U.S. Highway 82 in Bowie County Texas. Troopers were called to the scene near FM 3419 around 5:45 pm when a westbound vehicle left the roadway and overturned. The driver 32 year old Tamra Stone of Hooks, Texas was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 52 year old passenger was taken to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana with possible life threatening head injuries.
