The city prosecutor in Texarkana, Arkansas says Arkansas State Senator Steve Harrelson will not face a criminal charge in connection with a dispute with aman at the home of Harrelson's ex-wife.

Harrelson had faced a possible assault charge for the May 22nd incident in wich he allegedly attacked Carey Pessel in the home of Lori Harrelson. A Texarkana Police report says Steve Harrelson called 911 on May 22nd and said he had been assaulted by Pessel after taking his 6 year old daughter home following a weekend trip. Pessel, Lori Harrelson and her brother all told authorities that Steve Harrelson was the aggressor.

Fewer Pe0ple purchased previoulsy occupied homes in May, bringing sales down to their lowest level of the year. The National Associaton of Realtors says home sales sank 3.8% last month to a seasonally adjusted annula rate of 4.81 million homes, the weakest pace since last November.
