How good are you at multitasking? Would you be able to knit and run simultaneously during a marathon?
I can honestly say that I am not that coordinated.

David Babcock, a graphic design professor at the University of Central Missouri, set a new record of knitting a 12-foot, one-and-three-fourths-inch scarf while running a marathon in Kansas City on Saturday.

Although this is his first full marathon combining knitting and running, David says, "I have a very smooth gait" to accomplish both activities at once according to the Kansas City Star.

Also, his timing would be flawless as he held the needles in one hand and tied the scarf around his waist as the garment became longer so as not to interfere with his gait. Only one word comes to mind, "impressive"!
