Texarkana Will Love This New Frozen Custard Eatery Coming to Town
Have you noticed that big mound of dirt next to the new Panda Express on St. Michael Drive?
Well, get ready because work has already begun on the new Andy's Frozen Custard coming to Texarkana. Earlier this year a site plan application was submitted by Richard Reynolds Commercial Real Estate, development of the property has been approved by the planning and zoning commission.
Dirt work has already begun on the 2,056-square-foot building to be constructed in the 500 block of North Cowhorn Creek Loop. Andy's is best known for its fresh-made custard but also for other tasty treats like sundaes, concretes, splits, malts, shakes, and more.
All of Andy's Frozen Custard stores have a 50s theme look and feel to their interior for that nostalgic appeal to its customers.
From what I was told, Andy's Frozen Custard would be a drive-thru or walk-up-to-order store only. Andy's Frozen Custard has been in business since 1986. The tradition began in Osage Beach, Missouri but became a lake legend in nearby Springfield, Missouri.
There are approximately 100 locations in 14 states including Missouri, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
I think Texarkana will fall in with love Andy's Frozen Custard. We can't wait for it to open soon!
