Ribbon Cutting and Opening of New Roadway in Texarkana

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department is holding a ribbon cutting and opening ceremony for a new roadway in Texarkana.The I-549 Loop around the east and north side of Texarkana, Arkansas will be opened this Tuesday April 30th after a 10:30 ribbon cutting ceremony. The event will be held at at the new Interstate 30 and Highway 549 Interchange.

Attendees are being instructed to enter the site from I-30 Eastbound. Highway Police will direct you to the site. The I-549 Loop will connect Highway 71 near the Red River with the Interstate heading south to Louisiana.
