The Texarkana Police Departments have received complaints regarding companies or individuals soliciting money for the agencies.
Upon investigation of this complaint, the departments learned the Texarkana Arkansas Police Association had contracted with an independent company to raise funds. However, the company violated the terms of the contract and the Police Association is no longer affiliated with the company.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department isn’t currently soliciting any funds. Texarkana Texas and Arkansas Police Departments want to advise citizens that any phone call regarding solicitation of money is fraudulent and should be ignored. We also want to remind citizens you shouldn’t provide personal information over the phone to untrusted companies or individuals.
