I'm not sure what the fascination is with throwing something onto a pole, in a basket, or in a hole but humans are competitive by nature, and if there's a way we can make a game out of something, by golly we will. Remember when everybody played horseshoes? How about washers? Lawn darts maybe? I seem to remember a game when I was a kid that involved bean bags.
I would like to brag just a bit here if you don't mind... my wife is a great cosplayer. She has been doing it for years at Comic Conventions with all kinds of great costumes from Star Trek to Doctor Who to the MCU and this year, a Disney Queen by the name of Maleficent.
The annual downtown Fall Festival weekend is about to get underway with the arrival of the Johnson Brothers carnival opening this evening from 5-9 PM adjacent to Crossties in the entertainment district. The Frozen Rail and Underground Pizza will be open for business this evening.
