Texarkana Arkansas Police are looking for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery outside a local McDonalds restaurant yesterday afternoon. Authorities say the incident occurred around 2:30 pm in the 700 block of East 7thstreet.   The manager of the restaurant was walking across the parking lot to her vehicle when the male suspect approached her brandishing a handgun and demanding money. Bowie County Commissioners have named Denise Thornburg to replace Natalie Nichols on an interim basis as County Clerk. Nichols resigned December 31st in a dispute with the Commissioners Court. Thornburg who previously worked in the clerk’s office will oversee the department this year and an election will be held to pick a new clerk later this year...
