Take an Art Tour with the Texarkana Downtown Bicycle Tours
Alright, bicycle lovers, there's a springtime event that's coming to Texarkana that we think you will love! Make plans for the "Downtown Bicycle Tours," Friday, April 29, and May 20 brought to you by the City of Texarkana, TX, and the Texarkana Museum Systems.
Each bicycle tour will begin at 5:30 PM at The Museum of Regional History building at 219 North Stateline Avenue. The tours are free to the public but are limited to 10 people per tour. All participants are encouraged to bring their own bicycle, according to Keith Beason, Administrative Programs Manager.
However, The City and Texarkana Museum System has a limited number of bicycles for those that cannot provide their own.
This Spring tour will focus on several of the murals and other public art exhibits in downtown Texarkana. This season’s theme is titled “A Cycle Through Public Art.”
At the conclusion of the tour, there will be a gathering at Pecan Point, where appetizers will be served to all participating in this tour.
