Taylor Armstrong of ‘Real Housewives’ Issues Statement About Husband’s Suicide

Reality TV star Taylor Armstrong, 40, of ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ has broken her silence about the Monday suicide of her estranged husband, Russell.

A statement from her representative reads in part, “Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter [5-year-old Kennedy].” It adds that her “thoughts and prayers” are with Russell Armstrong’s other children from previous relationships.

Us Weekly reports it was Taylor who found the body of her 47-year-old husband, whom Los Angeles police said hung himself in a friend’s home.

Taylor, citing physical and verbal abuse, filed for divorce from Russell on July 15.
