To celebrate President’s Day, President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site park rangers invite children between the ages 9-12 to participate in their first Junior Ranger Program during the weekend of February 18th-19th from 10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. at the historic site visitor center. Children can earn a Junior Ranger certificate and badge by participating in a tour of the Birthplace Home, interview a park ranger, and complete the Junior Ranger Activity Booklet.
President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home became the 394th unit of the National Park Service. The National Park Service protects and preserves President Clinton’s home and tells the story of his early life here in Hope. What better way to celebrate Presidents’ Day than visiting a former President of the United States birthplace home and becoming a Junior Ranger?
The National Park Service also has an online Junior Ranger program called “WebRangers”
where children can explore more than 40 activities, view park webcams, and share their
park stories and pictures. For more information, please visit www.nps.gov/webrangers.
