Tuesday night was all about food. The 25th annual Taste of Texarkana benefiting Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank took place at the at Four States Fair Grounds.

There were more than 40 food and beverage vendors serving up samples of their best food. Needless to say, it was delicious.  All proceeds went to fight hunger in our area through Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank.

Various awards were given out to the vendors during the night. Those winners are:

Harvest Regional Food Bank serves more than 50,000 individuals in 10 counties each year through a network of over 100 partner agencies, pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens.  Arkansas and Texas consistently rank in the top 5 for the highest incidents of hunger. Nearly 20% of our local residents miss meals due to food insecurity including 1 in 4 children.  Harvest works to eliminate hunger through Food Banking, Food Rescue, the Backpack Program, and Mobile Pantry.
Below are more pictures of the event. If you missed it this year, all I can say is don't miss it next year!
