The Twice As Fine Texarkana Wine Festival has been cancelled for 2020. The event is an annual benefit for the Alzheimer's Alliance of Texarkana that in prior years took place at Spring Lake Park.

If you're a wine lover like myself, you're probably a bit disappointed. This unique event is a highlight in the city and a wine lovers paradise. The day consists of wine of great wine from many of Texas's best wineries, as well as food, art, and other specialty vendors.

Board President of the Alzheimer's Alliance of Texarkana  John Ross gave the following statement:

The decision to cancel this event was not made lightly, however, it was made out of an abundance of caution during this time of uncertainty," The Board believes it is the best decision for the concern and safety of our community."
