Fun 4th of July Fireworks Shows Worth The Drive in Arkansas
Independence Day is on a Tuesday this year and many of you may be planning a long weekend in Arkansas. If so, I have listed 5 places where you can watch incredible fireworks shows not too far from Texarkana that will certainly be worth the drive.
Fireworks on Lake Hamilton (July 2) Hot Springs
If you are planning a trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas on the 4th of July weekend on Lake Hamilton they will be having an Independence Day celebration on Sunday, July 2, with a huge fireworks show over the lake located on the east side of Highway 7 at the first Highway 7 bridge. Fireworks will be launched from the middle of the lake from barges at 9:30 PM and visitors can watch the show from the shore or by boat. In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled to Monday, July 3. Music for the fireworks will be provided by country station US 97 (97.5) so tune in.
Mountain Harbor Resort (July 4) Hot Springs
Celebrate America's Birthday on Tuesday, July 4, at one of our nation's cleanest lakes on beautiful Lake Ouachita with a huge fireworks show and patriotic music beginning at 9:30 PM The fun begins at 9 AM with a Red. White, and Blue party at the Mountain Harbor Resort with a Four Wheeler parade featuring jeeps, horses, golf carts, and ATVs. There will also be a flag-raising ceremony and lots of candy for the kids.

Sparks Fly in July (July 1) Hope
The City of Hope Tourism Commission proudly presents Sparks Fly in July on Saturday, July 1, at the Hope Municipal Airport. Wear your red white and blue and come celebrate with a ton of activities for families enjoy food trucks and a live concert from the band Sundown. Gates open at 6 and the fireworks begin following the concert. Free admission but you are encouraged to bring a canned good donation and drop it off at the gate.
4th of July Celebration (July 4) Ashdown
The City of Ashdown and the Little River Chamber of Commerce present a 4th of July Celebration at the Ashdown Junior High School beginning at 5 PM. There will be lots of family-oriented games, prizes, food trucks on-site, and live music. The fireworks are set to go off when it turns dark! Admission is FREE. Doddridge Community Celebration in the Park is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, at 11 AM at Doddridge Arkansas Park, Highway 160. There will be live music, food vendors, ice cream, watermelon, and lots of games too. Families can enjoy the bubble pool, water obstacle course, waterslides, and more.
Bring your lawn chairs for the biggest fireworks display in the area starting at dark.
