The unofficial start to the summer season begins this Memorial holiday weekend a record number of Americans will take to the roadways to enjoy a 3-day weekend.

Memorial Day Stanford Happening Memorial May 26-27
The Arkansas Quarter Horse Association will be offering beginning Stanford Happening classes for all breeds, some with added money jackpots and buckles awarded to the top point earners in L1 Ranch classes in showmanship, horsemanship, trail, and hunter under saddle. The event will take place at the Four States Fairgrounds.
Memorial Day Celebration May 27, 9 AM
Texarkana Harley Davidson invites the community out to honor and remember those brave soldiers who have served our country and defended our freedom. A special memorial ceremony will be performed by the U.S. Marine Corps League Color Guard as they present the colors at 10 AM in the parking lot. Coffee and Donuts will follow the presentation and complimentary food and refreshments will be served at noon. There will also be other activities planned throughout the day so bring the family out for a fun-filled day to celebrate our patriotism.
Memorial Day Service May 28, 2 PM
The Texarkana Area Veterans' Council and Memorial Gardens are proud to host the 57th annual Memorial Day service on Sunday at 2 PM on Highway 67 North at the gardens. You're invited to go out and show your support for all the men and women in uniform who have sacrificed while serving in uniform past and present.
Memorial Day Poolside Treats - May 29, 11 AM
The Sportsplex by Healthcare Express is showing its gratitude with Patroctic messages on a special sidewalk tribute that reflects on the sacrifices that our brave men and women have made for our country. There will be fresh lemonade, and watermelon by the pool please come out for a day of fun, remembrance, and appreciation on Memorial Day.
Memorial Day Observance May 29, 2 PM
Hillcrest Memorial Park is conducting a service to honor our veterans by marking graves with 1,200 US Flags. The guest speaker will be Josh Lee along with local boy scouts, veterans, and police officers for the Memorial Day service presented by Texarkana Funeral Home and Chapelwood Funeral Home.
