Arkansas Student Dies In Car Wreck Leaving Graduation Rehearsal [VIDEO]
Wednesday morning, one student died and two others were injured in a one-vehicle wreck in Southwest Arkansas. All three students were Foreman High School students leaving graduation practice.
The driver, 18-year-old, Foreman High School senior, Amani N. Beard, was killed. Alyssa D. Jones, 18 years old and a 17-year-old girl whose name has not been released due to her age were injured.
According to KSLA, the wreck happened around 9:30 a.m. on Little River County Road 53 just outside Foreman when the driver, driving a 1999 Chevrolet, lost control of the vehicle, left the road and hit a tree. One of the student's family members, who was a witness on the scene said the three were returning from a graduation rehearsal when the wreck occurred.
Sadly, this comes just days after New Boston High School Senior, Myranda Diana Finely was involved in a deadly crash.
Foreman Public Schools Superintendent is calling for prayer for the families and said the graduation will go on as scheduled.
