The CW’s fall 2017 schedule raised eyebrows moving Arrow to Thursdays, as this year’s four-way crossover with Flash, Supergirl and Legends would take Wednesday off. Now, The CW confirms Arrow will move to Monday for the two-night event; now set for a November premiere.

CW boss Mark Pedowitz confirmed at the TCA press tour panel that the two-night crossover event would begin on Monday, November 27 with Supergirl and Arrow, concluding Tuesday, November 28 with Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. After the event, Arrow will move back to its original Thursday timeslot behind Supernatural.

As of yet, no plot details have been released of the four-way event (which will actually use all four series this year), though producers have previously spoken to the overall story skewing more “emotional” than epic:

Every year we feel the pressure and I do feel like each crossover has topped the previous one. Topping last year’s [crossover] is a high bar, if for no other reason than what do you do that is bigger than aliens? We got some, I think, very, very exciting ideas. I would say, very early on in the process in actually doing last year’s crossover, Greg [Berlanti] said that ‘there’s probably no way to get bigger than aliens’. So the best way to make this year’s crossover especially epic is, if you can’t increase the bombast, increase the emotional stakes and the emotional pay-offs. A very oblique comment on where our heads are at for this season.

We’ll likely hear some more explicit details in the coming weeks, but could a Monday pairing of Arrow and Supergirl mean more Oliver-Kara teamup? Stay tuned for the latest.
