Benefit Auction, Fish Fry For CDX Saturday

There will be a benefit auction and fish fry on Saturday to benefit local musician CDX at the Crazy Horse Saloon in Texarkana.

CD Little or CDX is a local musician and this benefit is to be held at the Crazy Horse Saloon in Texarkana. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma.The benefit will help his family and their ongoing expenses in his cancer treatment. This is what the organizers had to say about CDX and the benefit:

CDX has worked for the City for 20-plus years and has painted the Perot many times. You may have seen him in there or even downtown painting! If you can’t make the benefit and would like to donate you’re more than welcome to Cashapp Hailey Riggs @ $hmriggs or Venmo Bobbi Carroll @Bobbi-Carroll-2.

For the benefit, there will be all-you-can-eat fried catfish and it is only $20. The fish and all of the 'fixins' will be provided by Doc's Seafood in Garland Arkansas. The event will take place from noon until 4p and is open to anyone that wants to help.

There will be an auction as well featuring some of these awesome items that will be available for you to bid on. Ladder, Racquet, and Jog Shoes, Custom signs, Chrome shop gift card,  Michas Jewelers necklace, Greg Orr bag, various gift baskets,  Artex Truck Center have a gift basket with a $150 Laginappe gift card.

You can also participate in the 50/50 drawing, and door prizes will be awarded. T-shirts will be available for purchase as well. And of course, there will be live music from some of the old bands that CD played with from back in the day. To find out more you can go to the Facebook event page.
