Bomb Reported at Bi-State Justice Building

This morning, Texarkana police were keeping citizens far away from the Bi-State Justice Building as a possible bomb was reported.

 TAPD Sgt. Cockrell said  the following,

" Roughly 8.40 am this morning, a patron outside of the Bi- State Justice center reported a suspicious package or debris. A Texarkana Arkansas police officer responded and located several cylindrical glass objects on the northeast corner of the building."

The package was covered in symbol style writing with possible wires protruding from it. To prepare for the bomb squad,  one block around the Bi-State was evacuated .

According to sources, the El Dorado bomb squad determined the package was safe to move. It has been put into a containment container and moved to a safe location for further investigation.
