Oprah hasn't been at the top of the favorite list of very many lately along with her best friend Gayle. However, O is using her voice and her magazine to speak about the injustice regarding Breonna Taylor and the lack of justice due to her killers at the LMPD.

For the first time ever, Oprah gave her cover to honor someone else... A very worthy someone, I might add.... the late Breonna Taylor for this month's edition. Oprah said...

What I know for sure: We can’t be silent. We have to use whatever megaphone we have to cry for justice. And that is why Breonna Taylor is on the cover.

It's been 143 days and counting since the Louisville Metro Police Department busted into Breonna Taylor's home and murdered her as she lay in bed sleeping. Breonna was fatally shot by Louisville Police as they stormed into her home on March 13th as she and her boyfriend Kenneth Walker were in bed.  They heard a loud bang at their door. Police fired off 2o plus rounds, eight of which hit Breonna killing her. She was only 26 years old and an essential worker with a very bright future ahead of her.

The officers who have killed Breonna Taylor have not been arrested. We will continue to say her name! We will continue to pressure Louisville Metro Police Department. And we will continue to pray for her family.

This month's issue will be available August 11th.

This major news comes right after Oprah announced that she will be ending regular publication of her magazine and going digital and has been well received on social media.
