With extremely hot temperatures comes burn bands in most cases as a precaution to prevent wildfire danger.
According to the The US National Weather Service of Shreveport Louisiana, continued very hot temperatures, low afternoon humidities, and dry conditions expected across the area this week, additional burn bans may be added. They also shared the following updated list of burn bans in the ArkLaTex.
