If we have a German heritage in the Texarkana area I'm not aware of it but you never know, but I do know several folks who love German beer, therefor I'm sure they will want to know more about the 2nd Annual Arlington Christkindl Market happening November 29 - December 15.

The Christkindl Market in Arlington, Texas is a family marketplace created in the tradition of the markets throughout Germany during Christmastime. The Arlington version features authentic German cuisine, beverages, arts and crafts, holiday gift ideas, entertainment and best of all Santa will be there as well. Parking is free.

Hours are:

• Thursday, November 29 • 5pm - 9pm (Opening Ceremonies)
• Monday - Thursday: 11am - 7pm
• Friday - 11am - 8pm
• Saturday - 11am - 9pm Sunday - 11am - 7pm
