College Drive & West College Streets Closed This Week

College Drive and 40th street are closed this week for railroad crossing construction.

Big sections of College Drive and 4th Streets in Texarkana will be closed today due to railroad crossing construction.  'Collision beams' are being installed on the bridges on College Drive and 40th Street in Texarkana, Texas, according to TXK today.

College Drive will close at the railroad overpass today and tomorrow from 7 AM to 3 PM. West 40th street will be closed at the railroad overpass Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 7:00 AM-3:00 PM.

Shawn Vaughn of the Texarkana Texas Police department says:

Some people are trying to go around the construction areas ignoring the warning signs. Please pay attention and do not go through the work area.
