Free Rabies Shots For Dogs & Cats At 5th Annual Bark at The Park

If you have a dog or a cat then you know that owning a pet is a big responsibility and it can get expensive too. That's why you should take advantage of the 5th Annual Bark in the Park event in Texarkana and get free rabies shots for your dogs and cats.

Animal Control Services for the City of Texarkana, Texas is hosting the event this Saturday, December 4 at Spring Lake Park.

Here's When and Where to Get the Rabies Shots For Dogs & Cats

This community-wide event will be from 9 AM to 2 PM at the pavilion near the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park.

What about Microchipping?

City pet registrations will also be available at no charge, but only for Texarkana, Texas residents. There will be other services available for an extra fee such as other pet vaccinations plus microchipping too. If you haven't thought about microchipping please do. It can really help locate an owner if a pet gets out of the house or yard.

Remember that all dogs are required to be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. According to the press release, there will be a limited number of box carriers available if needed.

You will also learn about other pet services that are available in Texarkana. There is no cost for the rabies shots but donations are welcome. Donations with go toward future pet-oriented community activities.
