African American, four-time Olympic Gold medalist, Jesse Owens once said,

"The battles that count aren't the ones for gold medals. The struggles within yourself--the invisible, inevitable battles inside all of us--that's where it's at."

My biggest battles have never been with an external source. Not a man... Not a woman… Not a task... The biggest and toughest battles I’ve had to fight were waged against me by the enemy in me. We all have an enemy in us that speaks all day…. sometimes subtle... Sometimes bold. That’s not gonna work. You’re not gonna be able to do that. You’re not ready yet!  And if you’re not careful, the enemy in you will rob you of your moment and block your creativity.I had to learn that EVERY SINGLE BATTLE I had internally was either won or lost on the battlefield of my mind. So the key here is to cast down those thoughts you KNOW are contrary to:  A. The promises of God and B. The vision He’s given you.
