Gateway Farmer's Market's 'Little 1st Responder Costume Contest'

Gateway Farmer's Market is hosting a 'Little 1st Responder Costume Contest' this Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Tables open at 7 AM at the Arkansas-side Gateway Farmer's Market each Saturday during the season and this Saturday is no different, the only thing new this weekend is the 'Little 1st Responders Costume Contest' which goes from 8 AM - 11 AM.

The sponsor for this event is the Rockin' P Cajun Kitchen out of Atlanta, Texas.

The Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department will have a truck on display as well as the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department. LifeNet is scheduled to be there too but that always depends on how busy they are.

Contest Rules:

Must be age 3-10.
Entries will be taken at the Market on July 24, 2021, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am ONLY, no late entries will be accepted.
The child MUST be dressed in a Fireman, Policeman, EMT Costume to qualify and enter the contest.

There will be 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners. Voting will last for 2 weeks on our Gateway Farmers Market Facebook Page. The winners will be based on the most “likes” the photo gets.
