Harvest Food Bank Returns to New Boston Next Wednesday, December 15
Harvest Regional Food Bank heads back to New Boston next week to distribute 500 emergency food boxes to Texas residents on Wednesday, December 15, beginning at 8:30 AM at T&P Trail Head Park Pavilion, New Boston, TX.
The Distribution will last until around 11:30 AM or until all boxes are gone. Recipients
who would like to participate in this distribution will need to line up and enter the Festival Grounds Entrance from SE Front St.
Remember, this distribution, as always, is limited to one box per household and 2 households per vehicle maximum.
“With the recent rise in hunger, it’s more important than ever that Harvest meet the needs of our foodinsecure families where they are,” says Camille Coker Wrinkle, CEO/Executive Director. “Our goal is to continue making sure families have the food they need, even during this challenging time.”
COVID-19 precautions are still in place, Harvest is taking every measure to ensure the safety of its staff, volunteers, and recipients, mobile pantries are operating as “drive-thru” distributions, with food boxes being loaded directly into your vehicles. Please remember, recipients are not allowed to exit their vehicle or park to pick up food. Simply stay in your vehicle and stay in the drive-through line, your vehicle will be loaded when you get up to the loading area.
Let's have a safe and happy holiday season and hopefully a merry one for all too.
