The Harvest Regional Food Bank is seeking volunteers and donations to continue helping others. Founded more than 25 years ago, the Harvest Regional Food Bank now serves 10 counties in northeast Texas and southwest Arkansas.

A partner with numerous senior centers and organizations, the Harvest Regional Food Bank offers many different ways to decrease that area's food insecurity.

They distribute senior food boxes, have a pantry, and also offer mobile pantries to the community. By having one-day mobile pantries at various locations throughout the service area, the Harvest Regional Food Bank is able to provide food to families and seniors that might not otherwise be able to receive food.

Like many non-profits, the Harvest Regional Food Bank runs and thrives off donations. If you have some time to spare, helping at the Harvest Regional Food Bank is a great way to give back to your community. If your time is limited, you can also make financial donations on their website.

If you are interested in donating your time at the Texarkana or a financial amount to the Harvest Regional Food Bank, you can contact them at (870)774-1398 or development@hrfb.org.
