Help Texarkana Resources & United Way Greater Texarkana Stuff The Bus

United Way Greater Texarkana invites you to join their efforts to provide school supplies for students for the upcoming year through their "Stuff The Bus Campaign 2020".

The Stuff the Bus program has worked for the last 11 years directly with school administration, civic organizations, and businesses throughout our community to identify students in need in over 11 school districts in Texas and Arkansas. The goal of the Stuff The Bus program is to provide necessary school supplies to students in need.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts to collect supplies will look a bit different. Instead of setting up drop-off stations throughout the community, organizers of the Stuff the Bus 2020 Campaign are asking specifically for monetary donations only as this will help ensure the safety of all parties.

The total cost to stuff back packs for 1,800 students is 24K. There are a few different ways you can donate. They are as listed below:

1. Donate via Facebook.

Their FB goal is $10K. Thus far they have reached approximately $300 of set goal. Visit their FB page to help move them closer o their goal.

2. Mail check or money order to United Way Greater Texarkana 214 Spruce Street Texarakana, TX. Make it payable to Stuff the Bus.

3. Drop off your monetary donation at 214 Spruce Street Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
